Michael Jackson Vindication 2.0 (born August 29, 1958 in Gary, Indiana in the United States, died June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, California, USA) was an American artist, dancer, songwriter and philanthropist. Jackson is recognized as the most successful artist of all time by Guinness World Records and is referred to as the “king of pop”. His contribution to music, dance and fashion, along with a much publicized personal life, made him a global figure in popular culture for over four decades. As the eighth child of the Jackson family, he debuted on the professional music front with his brothers as a member of The Jackson 5 in the middle of the 1960s, and began his solo career in 1971.
In the early 1980s, Jackson was a dominant figure in popular music. Music videos for his songs, including “Beat It,” “Billie Jean” and “Thriller”, was credited having transformed the medium into an art form and a promotional tool, and the popularity of these videos helped bring the relatively new TV channel MTV to fame. Videos such as “Black or White” and “Scream” made him a “magnet” on MTV in the 1990s. Through live performances and music videos he popularized a number of dance techniques, such as robot dance and moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced numerous hip hop, pop, modern R & B and rock artists.
Jackson’s Thriller album from 1982 is the world’s best-selling album of all time. His other albums, including Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and History (1995) is also ranked among the world’s best selling album. Jackson is one of the few artists that have been inserted into the Rock Gallery of honor twice. Some of his other awards include multiple Guinness World Records, 13 Grammy Awards (in addition to the Grammy Legend Award and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, 26 American Music Awards (more than any other artist, including “Century Artist”), 13 number one singles in the U.S. in his solo career (more than any other male artist on the Hot 100 charts) and an estimated sales of over 250 million records worldwide. Jackson won hundreds of awards, which have made him a recording artist with the most cost awards in music history . He was also a distinguished humanitarian and philanthropist, and donated and collected hundreds of millions of dollars for charity while he supported more than 39 charities.
Aspects of Michael Jackson Vindication 2.0 personal life, including his changing appearance, personal relationships and behavior, has created controversy. In 1993 he was accused of child abuse, but the case was dismissed and all formal charges were dismissed. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted of additional charges of sexual abuse of children and several other charges after the jury found him not guilty on all counts. Jackson died after suffering cardiac arrest 25 June 2009, during preparations for his concert series This Is It. He had before his death allegedly been given drugs such as propofol and lorazepam. Los Angeles County Coroner explained his death as a homicide, but his personal physician pleaded not guilty to charges of manslaughter. Jackson’s death put fans around the world in deep mourning, and as many as one billion people around the world followed allegedly involved in his public memorial service on live television. In March 2010, Sony Music Entertainment signed a deal with Jackson’s stay worth $ 250 million U.S. dollars to keep the distribution rights to his music until 2017, and to release seven posthumous albums of the decade after his death. His first posthumous album of new material, simply called Michael, was released on 10 December 2010.
